The pitch
In one sentence
Three heroes, three dice, one lantern burning down. Every level-up improves one face of your die.
In one paragraph
Dark Dice Dungeon is a dice roguelike where you don't level up: you change your dice. Each hero rolls their own, and every turn you decide who strikes, who takes the hit, who holds their roll. At each threshold a hero offers to replace one face of their die — a weak strike becomes a golden one, a shield becomes poison. The game is played in the six faces you choose to keep. Two adventures, an endless Survival mode, a two-player mode, twenty heroes. Made by one person, no ads, no account, playable offline.
What sets it apart
- Improving your dice. No skill points: progression is replacing one die face, picked from six offers.
- The golden combo. Bronze marks, silver doubles, gold triples — if you have all three faces at the right time.
- The lantern. In the Mists, every stop costs light; when it goes out, the fog takes the expedition.
- Two adventures, two tensions. The Mists of Oblivion and their lantern, free; the Lordship of Teeth and its Rage gauge, as an expansion.
- Nothing holding you. No account, no ads, no energy, no tracking. The game never leaves the device.
